with his wife Lynda. For many years Peter co-owned and operated Salt

Island his home for more than 35 years. He is past president of the
Chamber of Commerce and founding Director of the Salt Spring Institute
for Sustainability, Education and Action. With a degree in Art History
he is a practicing artist and the past president of the Salt Spring
